Terms of Use

Introduction

Strongmb is a digital bill payment platform operated by Strongmb Limited. We make it easier for users to buy airtime, data, cable TV subscriptions, electricity tokens, exam pins, and other supported digital utility services made available on our platform from time to time.

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of Strongmb, including our website, applications, account features, wallet or account funding features, and all related services we provide. By creating an account, funding your Strongmb account, or using any part of our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

Scope of Services

Strongmb provides a platform through which you may fund your account and use that value to purchase supported digital services. The exact products, pricing, availability, delivery times, and supported providers may change at any time without prior notice.

Strongmb is not a bank. We are a bill payment platform that works with licensed third-party payment processors and service providers to complete payments and deliver supported services.

Eligibility

You may only use Strongmb if you are at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement. If you use Strongmb on behalf of another person, business, or organization, you represent that you are authorized to do so.

Account Registration and Information

You are responsible for providing accurate, complete, and up-to-date information when creating or using your Strongmb account. If any of your details change, you must update them promptly. We may restrict access to your account or certain services where information provided by you is inaccurate, incomplete, suspicious, or cannot be verified.

Funding Your Strongmb Account

You may fund your Strongmb account using approved payment methods made available on the platform. Funds credited to your Strongmb account are intended for the purchase of supported services on the platform.

Your Strongmb account balance is not a bank deposit, does not earn interest, and is not stored in our database as cash held by Strongmb. Payment processing and settlement are handled by licensed third-party payment processors and regulated financial partners integrated with our platform.

No Refund After Account Funding

Once your Strongmb account has been successfully funded, the funding is final and non-refundable. We do not offer refunds after you fund your Strongmb account.

This policy exists to help prevent unauthorized transactions, malicious activity, fraud, chargeback abuse, and misuse of the platform. You are expected to confirm the amount you intend to fund before completing any transaction.

We may only review an exception where required by law or where we confirm that a duplicate debit, failed funding, or other verified system error occurred and the issue was not caused by your actions.

Purchases and Service Fulfilment

You are solely responsible for entering correct purchase details, including phone numbers, smartcard numbers, meter numbers, usernames, package selections, and other service-specific information. Transactions submitted with incorrect details may not be reversible.

Delivery timelines may depend on network operators, cable providers, electricity distributors, examination bodies, aggregators, and other third-party service providers. While we aim to process transactions promptly, we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or instant fulfilment in all cases.

Third-Party Providers and Card Data

Strongmb works with licensed third-party payment processors and service providers to process payments and deliver supported services. We may rely on regulated and licensed partners from time to time.

Strongmb does not store users' full credit card data in its database or application systems. Sensitive card details are processed by the relevant licensed payment processor in accordance with its own security and compliance obligations.

Fees and Pricing

All prices, charges, convenience fees, and other applicable fees displayed on Strongmb form part of these Terms. We may update our pricing, fees, or available offers at any time. The price shown on the platform at the time you confirm a transaction is the price that applies to that transaction.

Acceptable Use

You must not use Strongmb for any unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, abusive, or malicious purpose. You must not use the platform in a way that violates any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right.

  • You must not use Strongmb to process stolen funds or conduct unauthorized transactions.
  • You must not attempt to exploit pricing errors, system bugs, failed transaction loops, or promotional abuse.
  • You must not upload, transmit, or distribute harmful code, malware, or any content that interferes with the platform.
  • You must not use Strongmb for illegal, restricted, or prohibited products or services.

Account Security

You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials, device access, and account activity. Any action carried out through your account may be treated as authorized by you unless proven otherwise. If you suspect unauthorized access, you must notify us immediately.

Privacy and Data Protection

We collect and use your personal information only as necessary to operate, improve, secure, and support Strongmb. By using our Services, you agree to our handling of your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

Suspension and Termination

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to Strongmb at any time if we reasonably believe that your account is being used in breach of these Terms, for fraudulent activity, for unauthorized transactions, or in a manner that exposes us, our users, or our partners to risk.

You may stop using Strongmb at any time. Termination or suspension does not affect obligations or liabilities that arose before the account was restricted, closed, or terminated.

Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in the Strongmb platform, brand, software, design, logos, text, graphics, and related materials remain our property or the property of our licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, reverse engineer, republish, or exploit any part of the platform except as expressly permitted by us in writing.

Disclaimer

Strongmb is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we work to keep the platform reliable and accurate, we do not guarantee that the Services will always be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or available at all times. Service delivery may be affected by telecom providers, payment processors, utility vendors, aggregators, maintenance work, and circumstances outside our control.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Strongmb will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profit, loss of data, loss of business, or loss arising from delays, service outages, failed third-party processing, or incorrect information supplied by you.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our Services, legal requirements, business operations, or security practices. Any updated version will be posted on this page and becomes effective from the date of publication. Your continued use of Strongmb after any update means you accept the revised Terms.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Where any dispute arises, both parties will first attempt to resolve it amicably. If the dispute cannot be resolved amicably within a reasonable time, it shall be subject to the applicable laws and dispute resolution processes in Nigeria.
